Hello, heroes! وحدة جديدة: My Community — مجتمعي. والسؤال اللي بنبدأ بيه: How can we help others? نتعلّم الكلمات الأول: community — المجتمع، الناس اللي عايشين حوالينا. neighbor — الجار. وneighborhood — الحيّ. volunteer — يتطوّع، يشتغل من غير مقابل. collect — يجمع. feed — يُطعِم. clean — ينظّف. plant — يزرع. help — يساعد. trash bin — سلّة المهملات. solution — الحلّ. ودلوقتي جُمَل من حياتك: We plant trees in our street. We collect old clothes for people who need them. We feed street animals. We clean the school playground. We help our neighbors. Many students volunteer at the weekend. ولاحظوا كلمة volunteer كويس، لأنها كلمة كبيرة ومهمّة. A volunteer works without money — بيشتغل من غير فلوس، عشان بيحبّ يساعد. وفي حوار الدرس، أميرة وآدم بيتكلّموا عن إزاي بيساعدوا مجتمعهم. وآدم قال جملة حلوة: «…and now our street is very clean!» والفكرة الكبيرة: المجتمع مش الحكومة بس — المجتمع إنت وجارك وزميلك. ولو كل واحد نظّف قدّام بيته، الحيّ كله هيبقى نظيف. 💡 Look at this sentence: "We clean the football playground" — we clean the football field. And we can also say: "Omar and his friends volunteer to plant trees near the field." Volunteer means working without money, just because you love to help.
