Hello, heroes! آخر وحدة في الفصل الأول، وهي مختلفة: مفيش قواعد جديدة — دي قصة كاملة. اسمها «The Hundred Dresses» — المئة فستان. وقبل ما نقرأ، لازم نعرف الكلمات والشخصيات. القارئ الشاطر بيجهّز نفسه قبل ما يبدأ. Story Vocabulary — كلمات القصة: dress — فستان. closet — دولاب الملابس. playground — فناء اللعب في المدرسة. competition — مسابقة. drawings — رسومات. medal — ميدالية. sign — يوقّع، أو لافتة. letter — خطاب. announce — يُعلن. winner — الفائز. Definitions — تعريفات مهمّة: faded — باهت اللون لأنه قديم أو مستعمَل كتير. popular — معروف عند ناس كتير. annoying — يخلّي الشخص يحسّ بالضيق أو الزعل الخفيف. absent — مش موجود في المكان، غائب. notice — يلاحظ، يشوف أو يسمع حاجة. behavior — الطريقة اللي بيتصرّف بيها الشخص. expensive — غالي الثمن. bullying — إيذاء أو تخويف الآخرين. وده اللي اتكلمنا عنه في العربي كمان! apologize — يعتذر، يقول «I'm sorry» لما يغلط. Characters — الشخصيات الأربعة: Wanda — واندا، البنت اللي القصة عنها. Peggy — بيجي. Maddie — مادي. Miss Mason — الآنسة ميسون، المعلّمة. ولاحظوا كلمة bullying كويس، لأنها قلب القصة كلها. والكلمة اللي جنبها apologize — الاعتذار. القصة بتمشي من الأولى للتانية.
