Write, Rank, Anticipate, Perform — with a handful of questions that settle where each task sits.
The lesson
Before you start
Omar, this lesson gives you a fixed way to open your workday: the WRAP technique with its four steps — Write, Rank, Anticipate, Perform. The aim is to enter the day with an ordered, realistic list rather than a wish list.
💡 Picture Sunday morning: you write down what you owe — a report your manager needs by four, replies to eight emails, and a team meeting at eleven. You rank: the report is (A) since it has a deadline and goes to your manager, emails are (B), reviewing the archive file is (C) because it can wait. You anticipate: report two hours, emails forty minutes, meeting one hour — the total leaves little room, so you move the archive review to tomorrow and raise it to (B) so it isn't forgotten. Then you perform in order, having already counted meeting and call time inside the day.
